We’re planning a BIG media push for Giving Tuesday to shine a light on the many different ways sports fans can give back this holiday season. If your organization is doing something around Giving Tuesday, please contact us email@example.com with the details. We’ve got a ton of cool stuff in the works that we’ll be launching throughout November leading up to Giving Tuesday on December 3, and we want to include everyone in the sports community.
Wait… Time-out! You’ve never heard of Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is a movement that encourages nonprofit orgs, families, businesses, and individuals to come together and transform the way people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. Created in 2012 as a national day dedicated to “giving back,” Giving Tuesday follows Black Friday & Cyber Monday and this year falls on Tuesday, December 3. The movement’s founding partners include global brands like Microsoft, Unilever, JC Penney, Cisco and national orgs such as the United Nations Foundation, Do Something, 92nd St Y, American Cancer Society, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, CARE, Oxfam plus thousands of cause related programs and NGOs.
