The Open Hearts Foundation will host its fifth annual Gala on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 6:00pm at a private Malibu residence. The 2015 Gala will recognize individuals who truly epitomize the Open Hearts philosophy, including rock icon Paul Stanley, who has been responsible for deploying teams of volunteer surgeons and staff to developing countries to perform life-changing surgeries as part of his support of the Mending Kids organization, and founder of the Beating Hearts Foundation, Eileen Garrido, who has raised funding and awareness to combat Congenital Heart Defects at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
In addition to cocktails, dinner and live and silent auctions, the evening will also feature inspirational stories, moving testimonials from the honorees and exciting live musical performances including an acoustic set by Gary Lightbody, lead singer of the band Snow Patrol.
Established in 2011, the Open Hearts Foundation supports organizations that are committed to positively impacting lives in the areas of health, education, arts and sports. The annual Open Hearts Foundation Gala honors individuals who have turned a personal adversity into an opportunity to create a positive impact in their lives and the lives of others. Funds raised from the evening will benefit the Open Hearts Foundation, which supports the honorees’ chosen charities.
Tables start at $5,000. For more information or to reserve tickets, visit www.openheartsfoundation.org. For sponsorship opportunities, please contact Amanda Faught at firstname.lastname@example.org or Stacy Taylor at email@example.com.
