UCLA INSTITUTE OF THE ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABILITY – AN EVENING OF ENVIRONMENTAL EXCELLENCE

UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability will proudly celebrate An Evening of Environmental Excellence on Friday, March 21, 2014 at a private estate in Beverly Hills, CA. The evening will honor the extraordinary environmental accomplishments of Lawrence Bender, climate change activist & producer of An Inconvenient Truth, U.S. Representative Henry Waxman, congressional environmental leader, and Linkin Park, founders of Music Relief. The Grammy Award-winning band will also perform at the star-studded event. Proceeds from the gala will benefit the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability.

 The UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability (IoES) tackles environmental challenges by reaching across disciplines – physical, life, and social sciences, business and economics, public policy, engineering, arts and architecture, and public health.
